FAQ
A few things you might be wondering.
Is Praconaut free?
Yes. During the current testing period, you can use it for free after registration and email verification. No credit card is needed. AI features have monthly and short-term limits; the app tells you when you reach them.
Do I need the browser extension?
No. The Chrome extension makes it easier to save a job from an open page. You can also paste the job text or URL into the app. Some websites block URL imports; if that happens, paste the job description instead.
Which CV formats work, and what does the fit analysis mean?
We support PDF, TXT, Markdown and pasted text. Export Word documents to PDF first. Fit analysis compares your CV with the job requirements. It is an AI estimate, not a prediction of getting hired; missing information in a CV does not necessarily mean a missing skill.
Can I add interviews to my own calendar?
Yes. Open a prefilled event in Google Calendar or download an .ics file for Apple Calendar and Outlook. This exports the event; it is not an ongoing sync. Email reminders sent by Praconaut are still planned.
